Tried one official race today, it spins out easily for some.
The one that spins is usually the one that gets the least about of damage...
Beware. I donated 110 irating finding that out. -

It's fine to have fixed amount of sets. I just noticed it has been unlimited at Bristol before.

Tho I was not expecting much, it turned out to not be much.
It is not like we don't play some team games, but the length you two Smetana's go thru to do it, is next level (takes two to tango).
Yes, got run over eventually, but no huge surprise that happens at some point.
Petr, you did not really learn from the penalty you got in Darlington I feel. When you killed Jose.
You just about spun me out helping kill my rear tires.
Not to mention you clearly wallride on the last lap.

Ich hab jetzt ueberlegt, ob ich dazu was sagen soll. Ist ja nicht meine Aufgabe, aber weil du dich jetzt "scheinbar" so dolle aufregst und ich beim Sichten der Ereignisse des "Nicht-so-tollen-Rennens" gerade am Kucken bin: Eine Frage: Warum hoerst du auf Gaszugeben? 122mph und weiter gehts nicht....Die Geraden zuvor gibts du viel laenger Gas vor Einfahrt der Kurveneingaenge. Ich denke, damit haben die beiden hinter dir (vor allem #33), voll im Fight um den Platz, nicht gerechnet. Kann man auch nicht unbedingt erwarten....
Ist aber nur meine Fahrermeinung! Nix fuer ungut.

First of all apologies to Jakub. I didn't want to hit you or spin you out. Just trying really bad to get to you outside to try something.
However I must say that I can't help but feel that maybe there is a little karma here. I mean if both you and Petr just try to block the entire field something is going to happen at some point when there is a whole pack behind you that is faster. I do believe that you couldn't go any faster on the old tires. But I do find it strange that the run before and after Petr was able to run a lot faster in the turns, but when the both of you were side by side he suddenly lost his speed. If this is really the team game you guys want to play.... And it isn't the first time (I can remember Jonas getting frustrated with these games this last Sunday just to give one example). I just get the idea sometimes that the sole reason Petr is in this league, is to block the heck out of everybody so you can get maximum championship points...

If it were true what you write, that i didnt learn from Darlington´s penalty, today you would be wrecked after contact. I slowed down after our contact and gave you space to stay ahead me and not trying overtake you next corner. That´s fair i think.
b) Wall ride - I did it for "fans", im showman like Randy Mamola. If i pass leader this wall ride style, I would immediately slow down and not keep victory! If you knew me, i sometimes do this "show" in tuesday´s practice races aha yesterday - ONLY SHOW.
c) Ok in this league im loser with sometimes bad mistakes, ok no problem this is true. But on iracing officials races i got 0,719 incidents per 1770 races and this is cleanest stats around all drivers here = cleanest driver in official races around all VO drivers. Lower sof but number is number....

Badbeatbill As you wrote about team games, I like how you are clear about it. But the question is, was it really like that as you wrote here? I knew that I had to stay on the outside lane as I had older tires and in that point of the race, the outside lane had much more grip. If you look on the situation before I was spun, I was already clear of my brother on the inside lane. It doesn't fit me a bit according to what you wrote. If I was half a second to a second slower than others, then yes, but my lap times weren't that bad at that moment. Another point, it isn't easy to clear the car on the outside if everyone goes flat out. You must be careful, because you can't exit the corner as if you were there alone (The Trucks race was a good example). But I probably don't have to explain that to you with your experience.
And this is also an answer for Feempy. Plus, yes he was faster, but that was in the single file situation and that's something different as I wrote above.
Unfortunetly, you cannot see the background. In the last races, Petr sometimes started to take gamble with the strategy (stayed out on older tires and save set for later). Multiple times, I told him that it doesn't work every time, but he is still doing it. He has his own head. If you think that's how you wrote in your last sentence, then think so, it's your opinion. But do you think I should need it?
And about that hit from behind, I had my own opinion on that situation and surely it will stay in my memory.

WTF? Last sunday i didnt pit because i wanted to restart first and i was looking for caution during next 20-30 laps! That was my strategy in case of potentional caution i wanted take new tires because i knew the leading group would not pit again. This is very bad example. As a results my strategy was wrong at sunday´s race and i lost 2 laps........ Same strategy i won last wednesday´s Bristol Truck race.

ich hab das mit kleben an der Wand schon wörtlich gemeint. Meine Karre war durch den vorhergehenden Vorfall etwas fritte. Selbst mit frischen Reifen war ich 0,6-0,8sek., langsamer als normal. Das Auto kam kaum durch die Kurve. Somit blieb ich Ausgang des Turns an der Wand und kam aber auch kaum los ohne Ruckartige Bewegungen zu machen. In meinem Replay sieht man auch das ich voll auf dem Stempel drückte, egal ob ich nur 122mph hatte oder nicht. Habe weder gebremst noch gelupft.

Im Training nur abgeflogen, schwante mir Böses, lief dann aber besser als erwartet. Reifen immer gut geschont und mich aus dem Gröbsten rausgehalten. Am Ende dann für die Geduld mit P8 belohnt worden.

I am happy with the P10 because it was a tough race. My first stint was okay, but the others were bad. I overdrove the car because of the (great!) battles and pressure. I managed to slip by the crashes in the first half but couldn't in the second half. Luckily, it was minor damage and I could stay in the lead lap.
For some reason, I restarted on the inside for the majority of the restarts and it was very frustrating. The top lane was strong, much stronger than last week in the trucks. By staying out of, relative, problems I was able to get into the top 10.
Thanks again to the cars I had battles with!
Sorry to Roland for scaring you somewhere at the end of the race. -

Like you said in low SoF fields!! Nobody cares about those races! And this statistic are garbage!! Sorry but someone has to say it clearly
Race with the „big boys“ and show us your talent there. That would nice. If you can hold your statistics in fields with 5k SoF or more, nobody will say anything.
And like Jerome and Eric said before. Please don’t do this Team blocking thing race after race.
I had respect for Jacub and his talent of driving. But when we all see what he sometimes have to need from his teammate to get more points, I will have to change my mind.
Please let us driving fair and respectful against each other.
