  • Badbeatbill As you wrote about team games, I like how you are clear about it. But the question is, was it really like that as you wrote here? I knew that I had to stay on the outside lane as I had older tires and in that point of the race, the outside lane had much more grip. If you look on the situation before I was spun, I was already clear of my brother on the inside lane. It doesn't fit me a bit according to what you wrote. If I was half a second to a second slower than others, then yes, but my lap times weren't that bad at that moment. Another point, it isn't easy to clear the car on the outside if everyone goes flat out. You must be careful, because you can't exit the corner as if you were there alone (The Trucks race was a good example). But I probably don't have to explain that to you with your experience.

Can talk all you want. And I appreciate you taking the time to respond. But it has not made me change my mind one bit.
Atleast racing you I don't have to feel like i might very well get wrecked out soon.

And PetrSmetana we clearly live by a very different racing mantra. I wish I could be that proud of myself that easily.

Enjoying the racing still, but also not putting up with certain things.

  • Daniel A. I'm not entirely sure if you can judge the situation from someone's stream, but ok. And as you wrote in the post for Roland, I have no problem talking about it, that's what the forum is for. That's why I also wrote my view on this situation here. I don't think you need to tell me anything about fair and respectful racing. That should be a priority for everyone here.

Feempy It's okay to have your own opinion about it. It is everyone's choice which strategy they choose and how they subsequently behave on the track. It must be understood that I'm not responsible for my brother. He has a mind of his own. The only thing I can say about it is that I have had several conversations with him regarding a few situations that have been here in the past. And some I wasn't thrilled about either. In the final stage he has to realize this and it is up to him whether he changes his attitude or not.

Badbeatbill I didn't write this here to change your opinion. Think about what you want. But if you compare his lap times when he was single file in the stint near the end of the race and then from side-by-side situation, they are very similar. Plus, as I wrote here once, it's different to drive single file and side-by-side. This will affect your lap times as well. And also if you look at it again, shortly before Jeroen wrecked me, I was already clear of my brother. Perhaps it required a little patience on Jeroen's part. Of course, it can look that way, but as I had a bit older tires, my advantage on the outside was a bit smaller than usual when you are on the same strategy.

    Hello my friend

When i saw you behind me in the mirror before last restart, i said: "Oh my lord, Roland is behind me! This is going to be massive battle" xdd We always go into battle very hard and i like this battles with you. I will never forget the Sonoma Cup race, when we crashed third times! Xdd Others drivers here on the forum crying for a few contacts and the two of us have never complained about each other on the forum. For me you are real hard driver who never crying! I look forward to another brutal battle with you!:D

100% agree. For me everything is said. See you on Sunday in Kansas :top:

Agreed, but I can still not like how somebody behaves on track and say something about it.

I'm also not holding you accountable for his actions. Maybe my entire post looked directed to you, because I started with a apology to you and then went on with the other stuff. But that was definitely directed to Petr, not you.

  • Not even deserves a comment for the penalty. Used tires vs New tires and the driver in front is the guilty. Other similar situations (I'd remember Atlanta in which I was behind and not in front and I got also penalized).

When #76 is in front it's #76 fault, when #76 is behind it's #76 fault. No matter what, you always find a reason. "No time to react" vs "Late on reaction" vs "didnt like his reaction". If its me involved you choose the criteria accordingly.

This point on it's funny to me. Shame on you guys.
