  • I tried to stay in the race even though the car wouldn’t turn, just in case I could fix it. But with so few yellow flags and how little you can actually repair, I decided to retire when I got lapped for the second time, since I wasn’t enjoying it anymore.
Petr, sorry for making you spin in the pits. Honestly, I don’t know what happened. I was changing lanes at the right speed to get to my pit box, but even so, I can’t say 100% what happened—I haven’t watched the replay yet.

  • I made contact with Rafa (sorry, minimal damage thankfully), and Jalberillo (gave me some wheel damage sadly).
    About 40 seconds of optionals.

Happy to still salvage a 9th place finish.
Don't feel like I would have been able to stay on the lead lap, but going 2 laps down I will put down to the wheel damage, and the timing on that. Didn't end up being a caution...

I was fighting to be the lucky-dog when something like an accordion effect happened, and I lost control of the car after hitting Jesus Rodriguez. I bounced off you, then hit the front wall, and was 'too much damaged' for me. I'm sorry you suffered damage there.

Vom Speed her wäre wohl Top10 drin gewesen.

  • Kam erstaunlich gut zurecht. 🤪

  • Appologies to Daniel and everybody else involved in the first wreck... Kevin had me stuck on the inside behind Daniel. I thought I entered pretty normal (and once you are on the inside like that it can be hard sometimes to know where you are exactly compared to the car in front on the high line). Not sure if Daniel was a little bit slower on entry, or that Kevin and I both carried a bit more speed on entry there. But once I figured I send it on your inside I tried to back out of it by braking harder and that got me tight and moved up the track a bit. In hindsight you did seem to leave some space, so I guess I just should have taken it and although that would have still been a divebomb, everybody would have been alive getting out of that turn....

All good. That’s racing. I know you are a clean driver and I’m not mad at you. :*

I was just disappointed because I had a huge strategy plan. ;(

And yes, I was trying to open the wheel in the moment I saw you coming fast to my inside. But it was too late already. Like you said, you both were really late on the brakes into the turn, and I was saving my tires and so i lifted a bit maybe too early. The combination of both results in our „meet and greet“. :D;)

  • Ahhh, c'mon. Huge spoiler and now this??? 😁

all RSM cars in the top6. major strategy stuff happened behind closed doors. MAGIC!
