2025-11-26 Class C #09 Martinsville Speedway

So this was a real ************. The racers in the second half of field were driving like drunk millionaires who drive like they're in a Trabant. As is typical for me, in all the leagues I race, I always have an unreal hell in Martinsville. And today again, because of some drunk drivers I was in about 5 wrecks through no fault of my own. Are you kidding me? I intentionally gave up and didn't fight much and I still got knocked out many times. I wouldn't say it was in one race in Martinsville, but that's every single race here, some drunk pioners will knock me out. We can bet on which drunk racer will shoot me down in the next Martinsville.
And the last corner made it all perfect, when Denny Hamlin took me over like he was running away from KFC.
It was a totally ****** race, but top 8 is still great considering I got knocked out 5 times and had 8 minutes of damage and black flag. I think I lost my desktop keyboard because I was so ****** off that I almost ripped it off its cord and threw it behind the monitor during the race, and when I banged my fist on the desk, I bruised myself and almost broke a bone.

My race nearly ended on lap 9 when I was the only one collected by a spinning 03 who closed the door on someone else. 14 laps down and it was a mountain to climb from there. Got to 9 laps down and the only incident I caused was with car 54 which I sent my apology towards.

I cant really call racing what happened between lap 1 and 150 as there was a caution almost every single lap. There was someone who pulled off at every restart to not be in the mix of a wreck. Smart choice.

It was definitely an experience!

Das Rennen fing schon mies an, als es auf der Outside einen Checkup gab den ich zu spät gesehen habe und deshalb Björn gedreht habe. Nochmal sorry dafür. Danach wurde ich von Luciano gedived und hab Gabi mit rausgerissen.

Zu guter letzt stand Rafael auf einmal im Exit von T4 quer auf der Strecke. Ich konnte ihn nicht sehen, da Petr vor mir war und im letzten Moment nach innen ausgewichen ist. Also T-Bone in Rafael rein und von hinten noch zwei weitere Schläge bekommen. Danach war der Truck hinüber und kaum noch fahrbar.

Bin dann den Rest des Rennens hinter her gegondelt und habe noch die ein oder andere Leiche aufgesammelt und versucht zu überleben ohne selber das Auto wegzuwerfen

Lief eigentlich ganz gut, bis Mitte des Rennens auf der Geraden 2 Autos an der Wand standen. Ich hing zu dem Zeitpunkt im Heck von Petr, er weicht aus, aber ich kann 0 reagieren und fahre in Rafael rein. 2min Damage, aber ausrechnet vorn rechts. Hat meinem RF nicht so gut getan. Zu dem Zeitpunkt hatte ich meinen Damage gerade abrepariert und danach kam natürlich keine YFs mehr, sondern nur noch eine, in der ich mir auch noch 1 Runde verzockt hab. Shit happens.

PetrSmetana sorry for the bump&run. i dont do that normaly but you descided to take my complete vision and i had a run so i missjudged a bit and gave you the horns. i still dont understand your move but if i would go to the wall you would have a broken toe link in t3 and finish 15th instead of 8th.

race was overall good and somehow funny. i had a blast. speed was good. longrun was ok. its martinsville. hard to pass.

i think i was lucky to finish the race because i had alot of luck in many incidents where i got collected.

sorry to wouter: it was too late to react of you pulling from the 3rd line to the bottom. with the move there was an overlapping and i bombed you away. sorry also to markus who got collected and destroyed in that one. with the rules how they are i think this was my class c season. a very frustrating year. but i had to take a provisional anyways for a christmas event...

Setup fühlte sich gut an, Speed wär wohl auch ok gewesen.
Direkt zum Beginn des Quali dann einen Disconnect, Internet war anscheinend kurz weg. Musste den PC neu starten, Quali dadurch versäumt und ganz hinten los.
Durch die ersten Cautions sauber durch. Irgenwann dann doch erwischt worden und etwas Schaden abgekriegt, aber alles abrepariert.
Ja und dann war das Rennen nach 70 Runden zu Ende, einer wird umgedreht und steht quer, gehe innen / unten durch, in dem Moment rollt das Auto runter und erwischt mich am Quarterpanel -> Aussenwand -> Motorschaden. Done for the day.

Was ich bis dahin so gesehen habe war aber tlw. auch richtig starker Tobak...

Ich weiß, dass Strafen nicht im Forum diskutiert werden sollen. Meine Verwarnung selbst finde ich jetzt auch nicht besonders schlimm, von daher werde ich nicht drei weitere Rennleiter mit einem Einspruch belästigen.

Dennoch: Gabi und ich haben ausschließlich unter Gelb im Voicechat diskutiert. Dass wir es dabei etwas übertrieben haben und es besser nach dem Rennen geklärt hätten sehe ich ein. Wir haben uns allerdings nicht beleidigt.

Gemäß 4.8 der Regeln ist jedoch ausschließlich das Chatten unter Grün reglementiert, nicht unter Gelb. Insofern frage ich mich schon, auf welcher Grundlage wir Verwarnungen bekommen. Ich fände es vertretbar, auch das Chatten unter Gelb in den Regeln einzuschränken, damit es zu keinen ausufernden Diskussionen kommt. Vielleicht zieht man das ja mal in Erwägung. Für Martinsville fehlt mir aber die Grundlage, um Gabi und mich zu verwarnen - genauso wie andere auch, denn ihr schreibt ja, dass es noch mehr Verwarnungen gegeben hätte, wenn das Chatten anderer protestiert worden wäre.

Marius und ich haben uns gerade ausgetauscht: die Strafe ist für Chatten unter Grün und nicht unter Gelb. In den Strafen stand "under yellow". Damit ist meine Beschwerde natürlich gegenstandslos, eine Verwarnung für irrelevantes Chatten unter Grün ist schon in Ordnung.
