JakubSmetana I think you owe your mediocre placement to our contact at the entry to T1. I saw in the replay that I apparently dented the rear left corner a little. I'm sorry about that, but I was too close for your very early lifting, it just happened too fast. There wasn't even a green text imho, and I didn't suffer any damage either. Still, sorry.

Ist Kansas die letzte Strecke, die noch Magneto-Walls hat? Das war ja übel. Hatte so n schönen Run zum Ende um hätte Timm noch geholt, aber dann kam die Wand zu nahe, und dann nochmal. Da waren locker 3-4s wieder weg. So ein Drecke mit den Wänden.
Da war die Lust dann raus und ach auch egal jetzt, Gratz Carsten. 🏆

Kam schon im Practice nicht klar. Setup war kacke. Quali verhauen. Im Rennen dann extra langsam angegangen, aber trotzdem die Reifen verbrannt. Keine Ahnung, wie man hier fahren muss.
Ich hoffe, jetzt fühlst du dich hier wieder heimisch

Mein Rennen hätte ganz gut werden können, wenn ich nicht den Karren in der Yellow nur auf 16,2 gal aufgetankt (dann ist er im Longrun tighter, super Idee!) und danach gesehen hätte, dass man mit vollem Tank nur noch einen weiteren Stopp braucht. Ich war aber auch zu stolz, die Trackposition aufzugeben, während der Yellow noch mal reinzugehen und vollzutanken
So kam es dann, wie es mit 18 Fahrern kommen musste. Es gab keine Yellow mehr und mein restliches Rennen bestand daraus, auf den Fuel Calculator zu gucken und vor jeder Kurve ewig mit gedrückter Kupplung zu rollen. Damit kam ich mit nur einem Stopp unter Grün ins Ziel, aber musste natürlich jede Menge Speed opfern gegenüber denen, die 2,5 gal mehr verbrennen konnten.
Im Endeffekt wäre es viel besser gewesen, mir den Fehler einzugestehen, in der Yellow ein zweites Mal zu pitten und nach dem Restart auf der Outside wieder nach vorne zu fahren.

Smokey No issues on my side. I had a Jeroen next to me at that moment and at the same time it was a tight with the fuel, so I was saving as much as possible like some others. I was quite surprised with your quite aggressive dive on the inside as I wanted to line up behind Jeroen and didn't expect you there. Maybe a little bit more patience next time, but like I said above all good.

This was my last race this season as I'll travel to New Zealand tonight.
Anyway the season was going really good, untill the previous two races at Indy and Gateway. Since I knew I was not going to race the last race of the season, it didn't really matter for the points anyway. But then atleast I could give Carsten the illusion of a tighter championship
Still happy to finish 3rd this race. Just couldn't push as I had to save fuel the entire run. I knew the cars behind me were saving more during the first run after the caution, but I also wanted to stay in the draft of the 2 cars in front of me (who both didn't make it on fuel) so I tried to push just a little bit more.

Absolutely deserved after the season, which you're having.Like you said in the A tread, it isn't over 'till it's over. Carsten might wreck 10 drivers next race and accumulate 60 penalty points. You never know......

That's quite a bizarre theory. He didn't get that many penalty points there since his debut in this league
