Jan Lübbers Don't worry, I knew that you were still next to me on the outside on the exit. If you look at it again, there was still quite a bit of space between us, so I don't think there was as little space as you describe here. There was no need to hit the wall in my opinion as I held the steady line and didn't slide up to you. So I don't know what was wrong with it from my side.

Apologize to Carletto7777 for that hit on the exit from turn 3-4 in the closing laps of the race. A completely my fault.

At first I thought that Feempy missed the turn by his own, but then saw a replay after the race and I found out that he got a hit from Carletto7777, which created a big mess in the whole turn. I was stuck on the outside and had to react on Jeroen's exit, because I knew that Carsten is on my left. Apology accepted, but in my opinion an unnecessary thing during the first lap in the race. Anyway, the battle in the end was great. My tires were gone at that point as I had to push really hard to pass a lot of cars. Very good defend!
I would also like to mention Kevin Adam and his apology right after the race. Like I said, I appreciate it!

Thank you to Carsten Theile for another battle, it was a big fun. No space for mistakes. I enjoyed it a lot. Shame about that last race. Also thank you to the Matthias for the message here.
Happy holidays everyone!

First of all, I would like to apologize to Matt for the contact in the closing laps of the race. Very unfortunate situation. I saw you on the top on the corner entry and then I lost sight of you, because my view was obscured by two battling cars in front of me. I wasn't expecting you there at all and when I saw you again, I didn't have a chance to react. I know you tried to stay as close to the wall as possible to get us to let you go. Also apologize to Carsten and Erik, who got some nose damage after this mess.
Carletto7777 I don't know why it's a surprise. Everyone makes mistakes.

Carletto7777 Thanks for the tips. Shortly before the qualifying, we tried to change the router that we used in the past and we never had such problems. The result was the same, so I wouldn't see a problem here. We aren't connected via wifi or device that carries internet through the wiring of the light like you said.
Gabriel I would also see it as something with the provider. It's interesting that a week ago at Phoenix, all was good. The guy who provides us with internet lives a few meters from us, so it won't be a problem to contact him. And yes we live in the same house, but we don't race in the same room. I'm upstairs and he's downstairs
. Or my brother unpluged me next time

Maik Steinicke We had some issues tonight, which we never had before. I have no idea why. I saw some blinking mainly under cautions and then for some period it was all good again for quite a long time. But you are right that with one restart near the end after S/F line, that was the worst. Apology for that.
Do you have any experience with this?

Congratulations to the winner of the race!

Carletto7777 Yeah, but it seems that everyone has it set differently. At least here you can see who has what kind of approach to it here.

I agree with Badbeatbill. If you are multiple laps down and you are not sure that you can control the car, it would be better to park it. In this case, it was a very bad decision to go to the middle of the track, when other cars are coming up behind you. I don't know if the ''Sorry!'' reaction in the chat was based on this incident, but I would expect a different reaction if you screw up two people's race like that.

I would put up a screenshot of that finish, but since I don't keep downloading the paints and use trading paints that might look odd.
I will make some pictures tomorrow for our team page.

Feempy Understand. I just wanted to say that we had discussions about this.

Daniel A. I'm not entirely sure if you can judge the situation from someone's stream, but ok. And as you wrote in the post for Roland, I have no problem talking about it, that's what the forum is for. That's why I also wrote my view on this situation here. I don't think you need to tell me anything about fair and respectful racing. That should be a priority for everyone here.
Feempy It's okay to have your own opinion about it. It is everyone's choice which strategy they choose and how they subsequently behave on the track. It must be understood that I'm not responsible for my brother. He has a mind of his own. The only thing I can say about it is that I have had several conversations with him regarding a few situations that have been here in the past. And some I wasn't thrilled about either. In the final stage he has to realize this and it is up to him whether he changes his attitude or not.
Badbeatbill I didn't write this here to change your opinion. Think about what you want. But if you compare his lap times when he was single file in the stint near the end of the race and then from side-by-side situation, they are very similar. Plus, as I wrote here once, it's different to drive single file and side-by-side. This will affect your lap times as well. And also if you look at it again, shortly before Jeroen wrecked me, I was already clear of my brother. Perhaps it required a little patience on Jeroen's part. Of course, it can look that way, but as I had a bit older tires, my advantage on the outside was a bit smaller than usual when you are on the same strategy.
-
Daniel A. I find it quite funny that someone who wasn't in the race is reacting to it. On the other hand, I understand, because according to what the person in question wrote here, it looks like I was half a second slower per lap and we were doing team blocking. But the reality is a little different.
And as you said "race after race", really? Perhaps you would like to read my previous post and that will give you the answer to why it happens lately that a situation arises when the brother stays on the track and choose completely different strategy.
And as you wrote about respect. I will repeat what I already wrote. Do you think I should need this?
-
Badbeatbill As you wrote about team games, I like how you are clear about it. But the question is, was it really like that as you wrote here? I knew that I had to stay on the outside lane as I had older tires and in that point of the race, the outside lane had much more grip. If you look on the situation before I was spun, I was already clear of my brother on the inside lane. It doesn't fit me a bit according to what you wrote. If I was half a second to a second slower than others, then yes, but my lap times weren't that bad at that moment. Another point, it isn't easy to clear the car on the outside if everyone goes flat out. You must be careful, because you can't exit the corner as if you were there alone (The Trucks race was a good example). But I probably don't have to explain that to you with your experience.
And this is also an answer for Feempy. Plus, yes he was faster, but that was in the single file situation and that's something different as I wrote above.
Unfortunetly, you cannot see the background. In the last races, Petr sometimes started to take gamble with the strategy (stayed out on older tires and save set for later). Multiple times, I told him that it doesn't work every time, but he is still doing it. He has his own head. If you think that's how you wrote in your last sentence, then think so, it's your opinion. But do you think I should need it?
And about that hit from behind, I had my own opinion on that situation and surely it will stay in my memory.
