    Congrats Julen! Impressive pace.

Had a great shot at p2 with the undercut but also made the mistake changing the tires. The next 2/3 outlaps where horrible.

Apart from that it was a great intense battle for P2. Remo did a great job not cracking under pressure. Had some fun battles, some love taps here and there, made some mistakes myself but unfortunately picked up steering damage with the last (minor) contact with 4 to go, could only hold on to the car after that.

At my worst tracks I get the best results. Last week Kansas, now Darlington.

Tried to take a very cautious approach b/c I had a short night thanks to the Nürburgring 24h.

I was very surprised how I was able to manage the first stint, pace wise. I could get the laptimes I wanted at any time. After a few pancakes with the outside wall in the second stint suddenly the snap oversteer on corner exit was completely gone. It was a bit tighter on entry but topspeed was ok. From there it was just about managing to keep the top 5 in the bag. Couldn't really put up any fight.

If only I can make the high line work just as well next week...

    Congrats l71nus!

I was quite surprised I found myself contending for the win in the final part of the race after being almost a lap down before the first caution.

First stint I was stubborn to keep riding the high line but messed my tyres up. Second run I experimented a bit but really not much better, back to the high line then. The third stint was awesome with some great racing and overtakes (and I got the high line working).

Some impressive tyre whisperers this evening! Congrats Jakub!

Could've been challenging for the edge of the top 5 if it wasn't for my own stupidness. Found out during the first caution I was running 50%ffb of what I normally do with the Class A cars.. I was chasing the car, track, tyres whatever the whole long first run and couldn't figure out what was going on.

After I set the FFB back to normal I could run a constant pace which at least got me back up into the top 10.

Messy race from my part. Couldn't get the tyremanagement right on the (finally) first long run. Also messed up my alternate strategy under green by picking up a stop & go.

Apart from that, the racing on the final restart was partly awesome and respectfull but there was one car too many laps down, not even in one single battle for position messing up everyones lines. Unrespectful in my opinion.

Wow if this race sets a precedent for the rest of the class A season I will brace myself.

Saw a lot of attitude and impatience. Also got caught up behind or in the middle of other peoples mess too many times.

But I think the worst part was that when you sit p2 on a restart you automatically lose 2/3 positions due to the restart zone rules. I believe this had an negative impact on (all) the restarts at the end because it created even more impatience to anyone sitting on the outside line.

I could keep the pressure up until the halfway point. Then I smacked the wall out of t4 and the pace to keep you on edge was gone. Also the 2nd pitstop was dramatic.

strong green race, was a lot of fun even if it was almost only long-distance fights for me, only the undercut at the end put me directly behind Tiemen_Claus .

Yeah messed up my second stop. Tried to go for 2 tires but misjudged the fueling and also missed my stall  I was praying I could keep you behind since you where probably on 4 fresh tires. Good racing!

Congrats to Misan on the dominating win and also the championship! :wheel:

Yeah unfortunate to have to give up like that in the heat of the championship battle Daniel. :(

    My evening:

I absolutely love this track, always been one of my favourites from the n2003 days. Unfortunately this week I didn't have much time (even this evening) to practice some laps. So I didn't have anything in the bag for the top runners. I'll take p3 (with some luck) tho.

Also almost threw myself in to a spin in t1 when I accidently shifted to 2nd gear due to cramp in my left arm from the long intense race. :#

If there's need for a rpy file, I have one. Nevermind.

Wow how did I deserve such luck :engel:

1/3 into the race I almost spun on pitroad entry under green and lost en extra 2 to 3 seconds. Then when I cycled back in the pack the caution flew and I was just 1 position (2 to 3 seconds :dash: ) down from the lucky dog position.

From then on we had a very long green stint and I started to lose hope I could get back into the race somehow. Decided to run the gastank to empty and just splash and dash at the end and see what happens...

Then on lap 132 the caution flew and I could get back into it full swing, new set of tires and go for it! Too bad I touched lefthog when he spun right in front of me on the restart, was just going for the crossover out of t2 and slid up when trying to avoid him and finished his spin off..sorry!

Then the final restart I was pushing for p2 but some tyre god was just a bit smarter there at the end.

Well I don't know what got into me the first stint because I totally forgot to save fuel :pfeif:. Because of that I had to go out of sync and lost the pack. Rode around for 25 laps on my own and tried to focus on saving as much fuel and keep the claim for the lucky dog position. It didn't look like a caution was gonna come soon but it really saved my race when it eventually came. Got back in the top 10 and hoped for the best. :wheel:

Could've had a shot for a top 5 finish because I was in a great position coming off T4 on the last lap, but then I got a hit from the crash that happened. In the end I'm pretty satisfied with 7th after being dead last for at least a third of the race..

Edit: Also the #137 was blinking for almost the entire race, this made close racing in the pack very difficult.
