Great race, great championship... I'm happy with this season, even after such a bad start.
I hope the next season starts the way this one is ending. Congratulations to everyone—both to today's winner, Erik, and to the championship winner, Jackub. And above all, I'm happy to see several names making their way to the front of the grid, like David Pejchal, who has not only taken a big step forward in performance but is also always a clean and respectful driver on track! That championship position is well deserved!Have a great holiday, see you next season!

Don't worry about the accident, Gabi. In the moment I got really pissed because I thought the car was wrecked, but when I saw it was only 40 seconds, the anger went away.
Actually, I've never been so happy to have an accident xDThe only downside of that pit stop is that I didn't change the tires — I just repaired the damage and refueled, thinking the race would be just as crazy. Plus, I was already punishing the tires to make it to the top. Honestly, I had a tough time during the last laps of that stint.

Sorry if there was trouble...I thought I said it in the voice chat that I will be ptting!? I can not remember it was a close one...
There’s no problem, my friend. I just wanted to tell you — it was just very unexpected for me

Why do you make this race green year after year? I need a break from this track at some point—it's my worst circuit in terms of pace, and you always make it green xD
Very good race by everyone. The second pit entry by Björn Reddehase caught me by surprise since he didn't announce he was going in. Thankfully, we didn't have to regret it.
On another note, I want to remind some of the newer drivers that here we respect each other when overtaking. Even if we're faster, if we don't have the right to overtake, we abort and prepare the move again. Next time, I’ll just take my normal line and close the door… and if there’s contact—because there will be—let the stewards decide. This is not like racing in NIS.
You can’t force someone to change their line without being alongside them. But you know that if you take your normal line, they're going to turn you, so you end up having to take a defensive line just to avoid that.

Da ja leider weder Ticket, noch Discord beantwortet wurde: Warum gab es keine Strafe für die YF-Verlängerung in L220?
Hi Yves, I just saw the incident because I was curious and I'm replying to you as a fellow driver.
Do you really think it deserves a penalty for causing a delay on the green just because the drivers behind have to overtake? If so, put yourself in his shoes. If it happened to me, I would slow down too—why should I get a black flag just because other drivers aren’t properly positioned, whether it’s due to repairs, wave arounds, or lucky dogs? Also, if I remember correctly, a few updates ago iRacing implemented a change where the wave arounds are triggered automatically when cars are not properly positioned, whereas before you had to stop on track for it to trigger.
If the organization decides to penalize me, I wouldn’t see it as fair. The simulator is telling me that’s not my correct starting position, and I would prefer a points penalty over having to serve a 40-second penalty under green flag conditions. -
Good race tonight. I really enjoyed running it, although I missed the usual track temperature, since this circuit is known for tire wear and today there was hardly any. That allowed for some good battles.
Congrats Jonas, I couldn't keep up with you and your dirty air.
Here's a photo of a great moment we had. -
Agree, it is a scam. It would be nice if iRacing would allow customized Setup tweaking so that only a few things can be changed.
You’re now allowed to change some important things, like the steering ratio, brake bias, and brake pistons.
-
I don’t support open setups at all. It’s not that I think it’s a scam, but I’m not willing to pay $15 a week just to have a good setup (and I don’t have the time or knowledge to create one myself that could be competitive). Even so, these companies don’t sell their best setups, since their E-Nascar drivers use them and they’re not willing to let other users have access to them. 'I get it.'

No problem at all, JakubSmetana . These are the laps where things like this can happen — not at the beginning of the race. It's always a pleasure to battle with you. The first time I saw the replay, I thought it was a move to cut down, but Kevin told me it was because you came out sliding and were about to hit the wall. It was just bad luck, simply that.

Today I have to congratulate everyone — this was the race most similar to a top split iRacing race on a superspeedway. I was able to be aggressive but clean, people managed to hold their line properly or even push the way they do in those races...
Erik, you know it's always a pleasure racing with you.
What can I say about my teammate that you don’t already know? In this kind of race, we’re basically one car — we think about the same moves and, most importantly, we completely trust each other.
Congrats Kevin Adam on the win!
Note: In the next race, try not to blow your engine with 200 meters to go xD

I tried to stay in the race even though the car wouldn’t turn, just in case I could fix it. But with so few yellow flags and how little you can actually repair, I decided to retire when I got lapped for the second time, since I wasn’t enjoying it anymore.
Petr, sorry for making you spin in the pits. Honestly, I don’t know what happened. I was changing lanes at the right speed to get to my pit box, but even so, I can’t say 100% what happened—I haven’t watched the replay yet. -
Das war mit mein schlechtestes Rennen ever. Keine Ahnung was ich falsch gemacht habe.
Erste stint easy mitgefahren. Doch plötzlich 3 zehntel offpace. Danach gepushed. Das gleiche. Dann mix probiert. Wieder Nix….In the first stint, I was in the same situation as you until I figured out around lap 60 how to drive the car '55% front right'. It was completely different from how we had driven it in NIS. The problem was in T1 and T2, where the track was hotter and had less grip, so you had to be much more aggressive on the throttle out of T2, practically drifting out, so you could manage the front tire. Second stint, 72% front right.

At first I thought that Feempy missed the turn by his own, but then saw a replay after the race and I found out that he got a hit from Carletto7777, which created a big mess in the whole turn. I was stuck on the outside and had to react on Jeroen's exit, because I knew that Carsten is on my left. Apology accepted, but in my opinion an unnecessary thing during the first lap in the race. Anyway, the battle in the end was great. My tires were gone at that point as I had to push really hard to pass a lot of cars. Very good defend!
I would also like to mention Kevin Adam and his apology right after the race. Like I said, I appreciate it!
Totally my fault, unnecessary for a first lap, I just wanted to take the inside line to have a good position against you. I found Jeroen slowing down while I was changing lanes. I’m sorry to everyone involved, and to you too, Daniel A.

First of all, I want to apologize again to Jeroen Anema and Jackub, who was also involved in the first lap. Honestly, I never thought you would brake so early; it caught me by surprise, at least with my braking references. I didn't want to be aggressive or anything like that, just positioning myself behind you to have the inside line against Jackub.
I made a mistake with the sequential gearbox, which downshifted two gears in a row and nearly ended my race right there. Thanks to everyone for avoiding me well, guys!!
Erik, the bad luck you've been having this year in many races is just not normal. I hope it changes quickly.Jackub, you made me sweat; I had to defend with everything I had...

Yeah was really bad luck. But I don’t understand why he doesn’t stopped the car after his wreck on the S/F? No he tries to race with 100mph in zick/zack over the track.
my first reaction was to go to the right, but he was coming up, so I moved to the left and he was doing the same direction at the moment. It happend so fast and with 50mph difference i can not react faster…
And the worst of all, no sorry or similar from him.
It sucks really hard to loose a good result because of this situation. In your situation, I would be pretty pissed off, but what bothers me the most is that the driver has nothing to play for while being 5 laps behind the leader. I'm not saying this about Ismael, but because I think this situation should never happen...
Something similar happened to me last week, and when the leader was about to lap me again, I decided to go into the pits and retire. I had nothing to gain and much to lose for the rest. -
Such bad luck, Dani. From what I saw in the replay, Ismael had a steering problem. Still, there were a thousand ways to avoid the accident, like, for example, warning over the radio or staying to the right until you don't see anyone behind you. I also get scared because he does exactly the same thing to me, but luckily he sees me and moves to the right. If not, instead of you, it would have been me.

For a reason, this is my favorite mile and a half circuit. I really liked this temperature much more than the one in the Nascar series. Since you had to be more delicate with the accelerator and be careful with how much steering input you gave, otherwise, the rear of the car would always try to pass you in turns 3/4.
Too bad about that last flag, which left the grid scrambled going into the finish. It was funny seeing Roland and Manuel behind the top 3, being lapped
