What a race!
I'm sorry Bjorn, I didn't see the replay but I'm sure that was you the one I hit when I was trying to overtake a lapped car which was fighting with me
I tried to avoid accidents but was impossible.
It doesn't matter if there are 42 or 21 cars, almost the same happens every race.
Good win Jakub.

Shame on me

Horrible combo to drive, combined with the league rules (personal opinion).
I need to get better at setting up an overtake here, but I am pretty frustrated about how the defending is done given the rules.
I feel I'm way too nice, and because of that end up on the wrong side of 'oopsie netcode' moments.
Want to complain more about the racing I saw, but that is not going to change anything. I'm better off skipping this race next time.
Short track racing, but not the kind I enjoy.
I spun it after recovering from a netcode hit, in the next corner (chased Sven Limburger into braking too late...).
My yellowcard by rule logic, just to add insult to injury. I wish that netcode would have just full turned me.
Some of you earned some "O, I'll race you hard next time I see you" sticker for next races.
Sorry Kelvin for turning you on the very bad restart lap 207. I am not sure why we went for T1 that slowly, since there was nothing in our way anymore and no caution out yet. But I had just slightly bumped you before. -
what a race... i liked the combo more than i tought. the setup was nice this time and i didnt have to change anything on it. so i ran it stock. was around 5 to 7 the whole first part of the race. some bad restarts by me and some bad ones by the guys in front of me threw me a bit back around 8 to 9 but i was able to come back to the top5 and more important i was able to bring the speed needed (not for the top3
). so i was cruising...
then the one restart that got me very upset. some laps ago i whispered marvin that i will get wrecked soon. the race was too good sofar... i dont know why its not possible to have patience on a restart as the first car on fresh tires. it was 100% clear that the restart well be slower. wait and take the chance after it. dont bump the guy 3 times until he spins... of course i got collected. i managed to hold my car away from the traffic and i bet it would not be a yf. the 2nd crash after that called the yf.
i was lucky with not wheel damage. only aero. but i was almost last and overtaking is hard. managed to get through the trouble and then got back to p5. was very lucky but it was not nessecary with the wreck... i am dissapointed of the wreck.
also funny how i let guys pass because inwas scared of them to have them on the brakes behind me...

To me it was a fun race. But then again I really love Martinsville. Unfortunately it will take at least 60 green flag laps before a difference in speed will be enough to even consider an overtake.
I got the feeling I was stuck behind the “9 train” for too long. After I finally was in front of the 9 I started to make mistakes. Almost took out Erik.Erik also didn’t appreciate all the kisses I gave him in the earlier part of the race
. It was never my intention to spin or push you out of the way but our difference in driving style mid corner resulted in a love tap many times.
I was lucky and always in the back at the right time to avoid the big wrecks, so a P3 feels like a win to me. -

I didn't pit before the long(ish) green run and therefore was on 40-50 laps older tires than Erik, you and others behind, so of course you were faster at that point
You hitting and almost spinning Erik caused me to get crushed in the checkup and I had to drive a wreck from that point on.

We need your help.
Can someone provide an replay for us?

My upload should finish before 19:30.
Edit: it's on the page.

dont bump the guy 3 times until he spins... of course i got collected.
I look on that situation again today on my replay and I think the main problem was that Michael in front of me stayed on the 2nd gear for a moment or if it was a misshift. It look like that to me. And when he shifted to 3rd gear, it sent his car a bit to the left as I was already on his rear bumper. Quite unlucky situation in my opinion.

and lifting is never an option? in my replay you bump him 3 times until he spins. thats no unlucky. thats just no patience. something (including a good overview of the situation) that i expect from a 6k driver that clamins the "safest driver"-award for himself.

Gabriel it is always easiest to say after the race what should have been done better in the given situation. But maybe you are right. On the other hand, at that moment I couldn't know, that he has issues with gear shift. I also had a car behind me. And your sentence ''bump him 3 times until he spins'', Michael didn't spin after my hits. The first bump was as he was on the limiter and then when he shifted to 3rd gear I guess, which also slow car a little bit, especially with old tires.
Finally, I never said that I'm cleanest driver here at VO. I wrote that in the context of official races. And after all, it's just a number.

especially with old tires.
so you knew that he was on old tires? i normall let a gap in a case like this. i can pass them later anyways
