Keine gute Vorstellung heute.

Irgendwann habe ich Probleme beim anbremsen bekommen.

Bis ich es dann nicht mehr im Griff hatte.

Und die 2.YF geht wohl auch auf meine Kosten. Wollte so viel Platz wie möglich nach aussen lassen und bin dann über das Gras gefahren.

Danach war natürlich Rückstau angesagt.

Positives notes from the race: another top 10 finish and I didn't cause any yellows at Martinsville.

Sorry für die erste Caution.... Carsten war erst so weit outside und kommt dann wieder runter, folgt aber der Ideallinie.. Meine Schuld.. Mist

Von Anfang an Optional gehabt. Nie an Bummelzug Maik vorbei gekommen^^ .

Zum Schluss noch mit Frank gekämpft. Er ist mir im letzten Stint ein paar mal hinten drauf und hat mein Optional nochmal verdoppelt und mein Auto war eigentlich nicht mehr Konkurenzfähig.

P5 ist dafür ein gutes Ende für mich...

Kind of a frustrating race but still enjoyed it. I’ve always liked Martinsville it is a shame its impossible to overtake. Especially if the car in front keeps driving a defending line and you have to checkup mid corner or on exit.

I was surprised how much faster Jeroen and I where in the first half of the race. Unfortunately a lapped car lost control in front of us. The lapped car misjudged the situation and started to drive back to the race line right in front of me and no way to avoid

Starting on the outside line with a damaged car dropped me back to p6. Only to get turned while the white flag was out.

Oh well… next race at Dover I actually do expect to finish last, so less disappointments there

War ein schönes Rennen Viel grün, aber nicht nur grün, genau richtig. Hatte spannende Kämpfe. Die ersten 60 Laps mit Sven haben richtig Spaß gemacht. Bin dann leider in divebomb-manier vorbei, das war so eigentlich nicht geplant. Wollte zurückstecken, hab aber tatsächlich zu spät gebremst. Hast gut reagiert.

Der letzte Stint war auch gut spannend, der freight train zum Schluss hat eigentlich nach Caution geschrien. Dass die dann durch nen unforced weiter hinten kommt spricht für die Qualität der fights.

von dem bisschen getitsche? Es ist Martinsville Bin ab Lap 8 mit ner Minute rumgefahren, und hab nix gemerkt Nur der Hit von Kelvin hat am Schluss dann einiges kaputt gemacht. Durch Dusel und Pech anderer trotzdem auf P8 gelandet, daher no hard feelings.

Dienstag schon nicht gut zurechtgekommen waren die Ziele für Mittwoch niedrig gesteckt.

Quali mit P10 ganz OK, leider in Lap 2 in die erste Caution verwickelt worden, ~25 Sekunden Optional die Folge.

Von da an immer am Ende der Leadlap rumgegurkt. 2 Mal Überrundet worde, 2 Mal durch Lucky Dog wieder zurück in die Leadlap.

In der letzten Caution leider wieder mittendrin, sinnloserweise reparieren gegangen und dadurch ein mögliches Top 10 Ergebnis noch weggeschmissen. Obwohl es gefühlt eh nicht verdient gewesen wäre. P11 am Ende passt für mich. Anders als im Truck kam ich das ganze Rennen lang nie wirklich in einen "Flow" und war nie mit meiner Linie im zufrieden...

ja keine Ahnung... Hatte zwischenzeitlich echt Probleme den Speed mitzugehen, obwohl Maik vor mir jetzt nicht wirklich schnell war. Habs mit unterschiedlichen Linien versucht und viel mit der Bias herumgespielt. Das grüne Auto hinter mir hat dann noch richtig Alarm gemacht. Und ein bisschen Kontakt gehört zum Shorttrack ja dazu^^

War aber echt ein schönes Rennen... Bis auf meine Aktion mit Carsten...

I love short track season, been a fun couple of weeks off the bat and still Bristol to look forward to next week.

Another good race with plenty of fun battles, messed myself up there about halfway through wheel hopping the car down into three and into the barrier but it’s all part of the fun 😅

Big apologies to FrankvB for the last time around turn three. I got a little more push in the car than I’d anticipated for as I just rolled off the last few % of brakes which allowed the car to drift up a foot or so getting down into the corner enough to glance off your left rear, tried giving her one last tug to the left to get away from you but the right front was already at the edge of grip so if anything that last tug probably made the car push a little more. I didn’t feel anything in the wheel or get any green writing so at the time I thought you’d looped it yourself but checking the replay I saw it was my fault, sorry about that you drove a great race all night long.
